The Strata Committee (SC) helps represent the interests of the Owners Corporation (i.e. individual lot owners) and administers the day-to-day running of the strata scheme. A more detailed description can be found on the NSW Fair Trading site.
The committee is composed of volunteers who are voted for at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year. Anyone can put themselves forward to be on the committee as long as they are either a lot owner or have been nominated by one.
There can be a minimum of 1, with up to 9 SC members - this number being voted upon at the AGM. Assuming there are sufficient nominees, those with the highest number of votes are chosen.

Treasurer
The Owners Corporation has appointed Whelan Property Group to act as the strata managing agent who are employed in a limited capacity and are not paid to manage the entire affairs of the building.
The SC meets approximately every two to three months. The meetings are generally held in the gym and owners are welcome to attend although the rules state that any attendees are required to ask for permission to enter into discussions. The agenda in advance of an SC meeting, and the minutes of that meeting after it has been held, are posted on the noticeboards which can be found near the lifts for each building in the basement and on the ground floor.
