Cold water to units is supplied centrally from a metered cold water mains supply.
Water supply falls under the remit of the strata, so it is included in the strata fees paid by owners.
Please send an email to stratamanager@venetianpyrmont.com if you spot any leaks or notice any significant changes to your water supply. Please also keep it mind that it is more cost effective to call a plumber during office hours than to pay very high out-of-hours callout fees.
The water stopcock to shut off the water to your unit is normally located directly under the kitchen sink and is a small T-shaped brass handle sticking out from the wall. Turn clockwise to shut the water off. We recommend that you turn this every few months to ensure that it is not stuck open which can happen after years of not being used as minerals build up on the inside mechanism.
