Please be aware that there are two types of intercom handsets that have been installed in the apartments. One type (from the BPT 'Agata' model range) is audio only and the other (which was offered to apartment owners as an upgrade option at the time of installation and which is from the BPT 'Perla' model range), also provides video.
To allow the person at the door to enter the building, please press the button (on either type of handset) that has a lock symbol on it and hold that button down for a few seconds. Pressing this button will then also enable the person to call the lift after entering the building (by that person pressing the 'up' lift button in the relevant internal lobby). Once in the lift, the person should press the relevant floor number in the lift (so please ensure that the person is aware of which floor they need to go to).
If for any reason the lift call function doesn't work as intended, then you may like to either go down and meet the person at the front door and escort them in to the building, or ask them to get in to the lift and for you to then wait a few seconds and for you to then call that lift to your floor (by pressing the lift call button on your floor).
Please also be aware that the 'intercommunication', 'call transfer', 'porter functions' and 'alarm signalling' features which are described in the user manual, have not been implemented in our system.
If you have a video unit in your apartment and it is now broken, the OC will replace that unit with an audio handset free of charge. If you wish to replace it with another video unit then you will be required to pay the difference in cost.
