Each lot has a 240v electric supply to a Consumer Unit (often referred to as a fuse box). If your lights/sockets etc are not working then you should look to see if one of the fuses has 'tripped' - that is the the plastic lever is in the down position. Your fuse box is usually in the kitchen, above the stove.
Between the street supply to the building and your property there is another fuse (located in the cupboards marked "Electric Room").
If your electrician needs to work on the consumer unit or investigate the electric supply to your property then you will need to contact the Building Manager (buildingmanager@venetianpyrmont.com) to gain access to this cupboard. Where possible please give at least 1 business day's notice.
In Australia the rules are very strict around what electrical work a homeowner can do. You should always get an electrician in if you are contemplating anything other than changing a light globe (bulb).
