Each lot is issued with a number of keyfobs.
The maximum number of keyfobs that can be issued is related to the number of bedrooms in the apartment, as indicated in the official Strata plan. Please keep in mind that areas such as sun rooms and studies are not counted as bedrooms. The maximum allocation is:
1 Bedroom = 2 keyfobs
2 Bedrooms = 4 keyfobs
3 Bedrooms = 6 keyfobs
Keyfobs must NEVER BE COPIED under any circumstances. Keyfobs are issued on the strict understanding that current and future users of those keyfobs are also made aware that keyfobs must not be copied.
You may request keyfobs, up to the maximum allowance for the apartment, which will be at the relevant owner's expense.
If you would like to replace a keyfob because it has been lost, or because it has been damaged, the charge is $150 per keyfob*
As the first step in the process, keyfobs can be requested by the owner of the relevant apartment (or by the Property Manager of the apartment who is a full member of the Real Estate Institute of NSW) by first completing the online form at:
Once the form is submitted and payment is made, notify the Building Manager by sending payment receipt to buildingmanager@venetianpyrmont.com and you will be provided with instructions on how to collect the keyfob/s locally from the Building Manager.
Additional information - our security system automatically logs the use of every keyfob around the building for security and safety reasons. The Strata Committee keeps a register of all issued keyfobs, which it periodically updates via audits or by re-issuing them. IF YOU KNOW OF A KEYFOB THAT HAS GONE ASTRAY, PLEASE NOTIFY THE STRATA MANAGER OR A MEMBER OF THE STRATA COMMITTEE IMMEDIATELY so it can be de-activated.
